NO TAPPING INTO ANY WIRES. Kit includes led strips with 18 SUPERBRIGHT LEDs per side. Covers drivers and passenger footwell and retains the "theater" effect of the factory interior lights. Installation takes 1/2 hour and instructions are provided.
